Building My Own VPN with AWS EC2 + Pritunl (cheap/easy virtual machine)

Let’s learn how to build your own Virtual Private Network (VPN) using Amazon Web Services (AWS). For this VPN we will build a virtual Linux machine using an Oracle Linux 7 image with EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) and configuring Pritunl, which uses OpenVPN. Note that this tutorial did not cover generating our SSL certificates. For more info on that, subscribe for a future video or check out Let’s Encrypt. Configuration takes place via Secure Shell (SSH) using PuTTY. Private Key generated with PuTTYgen.

Current Oracle Linux 7 Image (at time of the recording): OL7.6-x86_64-HVM-2019-01-29
