The title is a mouthful, but it says it all.
If you’re tired of changing the current year in your website(s) copyright year after year, then just copy/paste the code from my blog into your functions.php file.
Then add [year] to any page you want.
In this tutorial, I’m going to add it to an Elementor footer template because that’s what I have on my site.
But you can put [year] any place that accepts shortcodes and the current year will be displayed.
I’m going to show how to do this without a plugin and then I’ll show you with a plugin.
