When it comes to Google Shopping ADs, knowing how to test products fast can literally make the difference between having a successful store and failing. It’s no secret that product testing with Google can often take a long period of time. But before even knowing how to test the products, it’s important to know the basics and fundamentals.
Since we cannot actively go out and find an audience for our products, it becomes extremely difficult to allocate a desired budget for each product. And this makes Google decide on its own what products to allocate budget to. This isn’t always a good choice because it leaves 90% of the products untested.
While having proper SEO optimization techniques and the right bid help, they are not enough to work around this issue. One strategy I’ve been testing around with which has somewhat allowed me to test more rapidly is the following:
One standard shopping campaign at $20 – $30 budget with all products getting tested, medium priority.
One standard/smart shopping campaign at $10 – $30 budget with only 5 – 10 products getting tested (preferably same profit margins or niche), high priority.
