React Native Tutorial Step 20 —  Editing Router.js

Today we’re making several edits. In my last video tutorial, I left something off, but make sure you do this TODO.

TODO #1: Change our export default function at the end of the file in Profile.js.

* EnableReinitialize allows us to re-initialize our forms with pre-populated values. If you want to know more about it, check it out here.

TODO #2: Go to /src/containers/User/style.js (create the file if it isn’t there) and make the following changes (add the profileHeaderStyles).

TODO #3: Add createStackNavigator to /src/router.js. Import Profile.js to the router.

* createStackNavigator presents us a way to navigate through screens. More here.

TODO #4: Change class Profile extends Component to const ProfileContainer. Then, edit MyDrawerNavigator to reflect this.

* We talked about drawerIcon and drawerLabel already in the past, so I won’t go through it here. With regards to the Ionicons, check them out here.

TODO #5: Make sure in your loginUser(action) function in sagas.js.

TODO #6: Add config folder and index.js inside that folder: /src/services/config/index.js. Then add the following export consts.

That’s all we need to know for now. Was today’s tutorial easy? Leave a comment below!
